【Abstract】 We synthesize a series of solvents which have special uses and high boiling point, such as acetal, ketal and ether. These solvents are used to prepare methylcyclopentadiene by the methylation of cyclopentadiene. Through the preparation of granulated sodium and the reaction of sodium with cyclopentadiene.In the solvent, we select ethylene glycol methyl octyl ether as our best solvent. At the same time, we report the preparation method of ethylene glycol methyl octyl ether in detail. The yield is 66.2 %.更多还原
