【Abstract】 The paper makes a deep analysis of the reasons for the minimum pricing behavior and price alliance of the color TV monopolist of China and points out that this behavior is a method of selfprotection and not a monopoly.It is finally put forward that the approach to solving the random competition of the TV industry are classification ownership,government regulation and technological innovations.
