【Abstract】 Before and after the Lugou Bridge Incident, the Chinese soldiers’ indomitable resistance forced Japan to give up the strategy of fighting to overpower the opponent in a short time. Japan had but only to change it in- to another strategy: fighting to win in a protracted time. The article gives a close study of the historical occasion and finally reaches a conclusion that the Japanese strategic goal was too large for its military strength to accom- plish although these military strategies were is something reasonable.更多还原
