【Abstract】 In the construction of the main works of the Mianhuatan Hydropower Station, the Owner has adopted a series of effective measures, such as perfecting the antecedent preparation work of the project, selecting correctly the construction unit and equipment manufacturers, arranging scientifically the planned construction period, doing well the design optimization of the project and the dynamic management of cash flow, using the professional mechanical and electrical equipment debugging team, strengthening contract management, dealing with the disputes and claims correctly, etc.. Meanwhile, for the decisions of key technical problems of the project, the following ways are adopted, such as inviting the outside experts by stages, giving full play to the initiative of supervision and design units and organizing special consulting group or expert consultation team.
