【Abstract】 With a super low density but rather high strength and chemical stability, EPS can be used in embankment filling to reduce the settlement of roadbed and to reduce the lateral pressure on bridge piles. It can also increase the stability of roadbed remarkably and reduce the unequal settlement of road and bridge. This paper introduces the mechanical properties of EPS and its application in the embankment filling of a bridge.更多还原
