【Abstract】 Social practice plays a significant role in college students’ healthy and sound grow-up. The dialectical materialist theory provides social practice with philosophical basis and theoretical evidence. Combination Of education with production and labor, development of quality education, as well as thinking characteristics of college students put forward specific and urgent demand for social practice. The functions of social practice among college students consist of motivation function, instruction function and transformation function.
