【Abstract】 In the paper, the idea, the developing state, the basic content and the research and development process of the intelligent transoprt systems (ITS) are concisely introduced. The advanced automotive automatic control technologies in ITS are further expounded. The most attentions are paid to longitudinal control, lateral control, automatic driving and platoon control.
