【Abstract】 This paper studies the metadata architecture of Web information retrieval and puts forward an information retrieval method using metadata to overcome the limitations of traditional Web information retrieval. A practical metadata search server was implemented based on Z39.50 protocol,which supports multi\|client concurrence and keep great compatibility with common Z39.50 client by mapping Dublin Core metadata set to MARC.更多还原
