【Abstract】 This paper describes the research how to reduce free acceleration smoke(FAS) for the Donfeng-Cummins 6BTA5.9 diesel engine. Through such measures as changing the fuel injection pump supply performance,selection turbochargers,using the lower swirl cylinder head and the new type of combustion bowl, the free acceleration smoke is reduced as well as the full load smoke, and the torque is boosted at low engine speed, thus it can meet the smoke standard for diesel engine running in cities.更多还原
