【Abstract】 The poem inscribed on a painting began in Six dynasties(220～581) and became prosperous in Tang dynasty(618～907).It is a combi nation of literature and painting,which is a special form of Chinese arts.The poem inscribed on a painting of Tang dynasty concerns about the motif,style,painters,technique,review and so on.The theory of likness and connotation shows the truth that artists of Tang dynasty put high value on likeness.And this kind of realism theory has its source in the environment of the society and technique.It’s a very important stage in the development of Chinese painting.It also has its own effect on the arts following it.更多还原
