【Abstract】 According to the rainfall data of recently 40 years and features of short-durat ion and infrequent recurrence of rainstorm in Lanzhou district.This paper discus ses several sampling methods and their relationships in the analysis of intensit y of urban rainstorm. On the basis of the exponential distribution of the ra instorm frequency and nonlinear method for the super-standard amount equation, the calculating formula of rainstorm intensity in Lanzhou district were present ed.
