【Abstract】 In the modern history of China, in order to save nation and make the country rich, some suggestions,such as saving the nation by education, by science or by industry, were put forward, among which Zheng Guanying’s’ commercial battle’ thought was conspicuous. As the foreign commodity and capital poured into China, Zheng Guanying realized the importance of’ commercial battle’and offered various measures to fight against the foreign influence. He set up an all - round and specific ideological system of developing capitalist national economy and represented the trend of history development and the advanced level of theory of that time.
