【Abstract】 Synchrotron radiation was employed to study the structure of natural diamond. Growth bands are observed in high crystalline quality diamonds and the growth bands are parallel to (00), (100) and (00), (010) crystalline planes. The growth bands are situated in a curved plane deflected to the center of the specimen. The shape of the growth bands shows that the growing speeds are quite different in different directions.更多还原
