【Abstract】 The thoughts of Kissinger’s equilibrium strategy,on one hand,reflects such rationalities as the idea of powers’self-restraint,the standpoint of relative safety,the realistic thought of state interests and the macro-vision of strategic design because of its revealing the realities of today’international relations.On the other hand ,with its putting undue stress on the country role,having a preference for the historical analogy,it also has some limitations at present time when the world becomes increasingly globalized,economy integrated and the interdependence among countries deepened.
