【Abstract】 This paper introduces the manufacture and application of an insulation cap for the stator terminal insulation of WX series air cooled turbogenerators.The cap was made of a glass-fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide(PPS) and shaped by injection moulding. Withstand voltage、 adherence with a polyurethane adhesive which is poured into the cap and fixed the cap to the stator terminals、resistance to VPI varnish solvent、 dimension stability at high temperature、 mechanical strength of the cap were tested.The turbogenerator running results show that the cap can replace the import.更多还原
