【Abstract】 Tripod type universal coupling is a new kind of universal coupling which is suitable the case that the angle between shafts is small and is widely used in many cars driven by front shafts, such as "XiaLi" and"FuKang" .But the author discovered that, as a coupling among intersect shafts, its structure is not rational and possesses many excessive actual restrains so it would result in an attached stress in the pairs and increase wearing of pair element.
