【Abstract】 Changes in social custom between the years 1949 and 1956, the early period of the People’s Republic of China, were started by the background of revolution in the social system and social life, and were reflected in the great social changes. Compared with changes of social custom in the previous period, that is, before the founding of the People’s Republish of China, changes during this period were marked by characteristics of the time in terms of the dimension, the method and the motivation.
