O2在U和U-Nb合金表面吸附的XPS研究
XPS STUDY ON THE ADSORPTION OF O2 ON URANIUM AND URANIUM-NIOBIUM ALLOY SURFACES
【摘要】 采用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)分析研究了298 K时O2在金属U和 U-Nb合金清洁表面的原位吸附过程,作为对照还研究了在纯 Nb表面的吸附吸附各阶段 XPS图谱的变化揭示了O2在U,Nb和 U-Nb合金表面的吸附将导致UO2; NbO和 Nb2O5等多种产物形成定量分析表明,O2在 U和 U-Nb合金表面的饱和吸附量大约分别为45L和40L(1L=1.33×10-4 Pa·s),而O2在金属Nb上的饱和吸附量仅约为10L.
【Abstract】 The surface adsorptions of dry oxygen on uranium and uranium-niobium alloy at 298 K was investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). For comparison, the adsorption of oxygen on pure niobium has been also studied. XPS spectral features suggest that oxygen adsorptions on uranium, niobium and uranium-niobium alloy surfaces led to the formation of UO2, NbO and Nb2O5. Quantitative analysis indicates that the saturation coverages on uranium and uranium-niobium alloy are approximately 45 L and 40 L exposure, respectively. However, the saturation adsorption on niobium is found to be 10 L(1 L =1.33 ×10-4 Pa.s)
