【Abstract】 ： Video Conference is the focus in the current research on the Internet based applications．The paper analyzes the key problems on real time audio and video communication on heterogeneous platforms，then puts forward an implementation based on RTP and IP Multicasting and later investigate the control mechanism on a distributed system．At last，an application in a cross－platform video conference system is brought forward and illustrated．更多还原
