江苏徐州及其邻区新元古代魏集组叠层石礁
Neoproterozoic Stromatolitic Reefs in Weiji Formation, Xuzhou
【摘要】 江苏徐州及其邻区新元古代魏集组出露广泛 ,其中由新元古代沿海潮坪—浅滩底栖微生物群落生命活动形成的叠层石礁碳酸盐岩厚达 30 0m ,延绵几百km2 以上 ,构成了该区一系列山丘的主体。就该区主要的叠层石类型及其形成的礁体作一综述 ,并讨论其区域地层对比。
【Abstract】 Xuzhou region is situated on the south margin of North China Plateform and the Neoproterozoic marine sedimentary sequences developed well, up to more than 5000m thick of predominantly carbonate sediments contain abundant stromatolites with a few clastic rocks. The sequence can be subdivided into Caodian, Wushan, Liulaobei, Shishilichangshan, Jiayuan, Zhaowei, Nieyuan, Jiudingshan, Zhangqu, Weiji, Shijia, Wangshan, Jiushanzhai and Gouhou formations in ascending stratigraphical order. The Weiji Formation, of which, is up to 300m thick and chiefly of stromatolite-bearing limestones deposited in subtidal to didal flat-lagoon emvirouments, where stromatolities, including Baicalia baicalica, Colonnella monia, Conophyton cylindricus, Conophyton ocularoides, Jacutophyton ramosum, Linella weijiensis, Pitella lanceorate and Tungussis erecta et al., built giant barrier reefs, fringing reefs, pinnacle reefs, atoll and so on, and bioherm or biostrom of many forms. It is suggested that high abundant and diverse stromatolites from Weiji Formation represent a Pre-Sinian assemblage of stromatolites.
