【摘要】 通过对汉英篇章结构分析与比较 ,从主题句和扩展句在篇章中的分布来看 ,汉英两种语言有着类似的结构模式 ,它们都依据主题组织段落篇章 ,篇章结构的语义特征与段落、句串的主题密切相关 ,与词语的形态标志并无多大关系。因此从深层结构上讲 ,认为英语 (或印欧语言 )是“形”摄语言 ,而汉语是“神”摄语言的观点是不正确的。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper attempts to make a comparative study of topic and its paragraph patterns in Chinese English expository texts. It shows that English and Chinese share the similar structural patterns in the light of the distribution of topic sentence and supporting sentences in the paragraphs. The semantic feature of texts is closely related to the topic of sequences of sentences and paragraphs, nonetheless, has little relation to the morphological mark of words and expressions. Therefore, after exploring the deep structure of language, we come to the conclusion that the viewpoint, English (or Indo-English languages) is ’hypotactic’, yet Chinese is ’paratactic’, is unacceptable.更多还原
