【Abstract】 This paper places industrialization and informationization in the history of human economic development. The exploration traces back to the remote antiquity, and is not limited to the modern or contemporary times. The examination focuses on man, the subject of economic activities, and probes into the characteristics of industrialization and informationization from the perspective of production and exchange. In addition, this paper believes that industrialization and informationization is expressed in the integration of accumulation of quantity and staged upgrade of quality. These two go forward one by one and interlace each other, involving all major aspects of economic activities and development. Finally, this paper asserts that information industry typically represents the tertiary industry.更多还原
