用于10Gb/sWDM系统色散补偿的波长取样啁啾光纤光栅
Sampled Chirped FBG for 10Gb/s WDM System Dispersion Compe nsation
【摘要】 研制出一种新型色散补偿光纤光栅——波长取样啁啾光纤光栅 ,它具有 1 0个周期性为 0 .8nm的波长结构 ,每个周期的反射特性和色散特性都基本相同 ,其带宽为 0 .6nm、峰值反射率为 90 %、色散量为 1 30 0 ps/nm、时延抖动小于 5 0 ps,光栅长度为 1 0 cm。利用此波长取样啁啾光纤光栅 ,在 8× 1 0 Gb/s波分复用 ( WDM)系统中 ,进行了 NRZ码 1 40 km标准单模光纤的色散补偿实验 ,补偿效果良好。
【Abstract】 A new dispersion compensator for multi-wavelength, the sampled chirped fiber Bragg grating(FBG),was fabricated.Its length is 10cm.I t has the 10 wavelength structures,with the space of neighbored wavelength 0.8nm .Every structure has the same characteristic of reflection and dispersion,with t he width of band 0.6nm,the reflectivity 90%,the dispersion 1300ps/nm,the ripple from the time delay less than 50ps.The sampled chirped FBG can apply in 8×10Gb /s system 140km transmission and show very good trsult for dispersion compensati on.
