【Abstract】 History of human civilization of thousands of years reveals the development of man in the way of thinking unexceptionally has gone through the stages of thinking at dribs and drabs first, and then linear thinking and further towards the networking thinking. In the agrarian age, man was generally at the level of thinking at dribs and drabs, spreading on vast land, self-reliant, self-supply, insulated under his roof with others, completely scattered and isolated in a closed system. In the industrial times, the assembling line ties people up in another closed system of concentration. The next working procedure is affected by the working procedure finished before. A blunder made by one worker at a certain spot will lead to problems of the all and the one. Standardization, mechanization and specification have converted people＇s thinking to the simple cause-effect way. When entering the information age, information, as the resources of wealth, is openly and evenly spread on the Internet accessible world wild and shared by the people world wide. Characterized by its individuation, diversity, interaction, openness, creativity and flexibility, it helps people gradually move out of the closed, vertically structured linear order - obedience system of concentration and enter an open, interactive, crisscross networking world, which is an order-protocol and obedience-autonomy system, giving a full play of human＇s ontological existence. This shows that the development of man in the way of thinking has reached the networking level. The institutions, into which man, as the main part in interaction, put himself, especially, the educational institutions, have experienced such changes too. In the agrarian age, the individual learning type of Si-shu (a household private school) was an example of organizational structure at dribs and drabs. In the industrial times, schools, which adapted collective learning pattern, are organized hierarchically in a linear structure. Yet when man has entered an information society, his thinking has reached the networking level. Faced with a great number of networking organizations such as internet universities, education websites, the linear thinking and administration apparently fall behind since they fail to meet the requirements of a new era. A new administrative form of universities in the future is sure to come out. Based upon the above mentioned background of man＇s way of thinking, the author points out networking organization structure will become the administrative form of universities in the future.更多还原
