【Abstract】 This paper discusses the pretreatment method of controlling the exhaust emissions from the engine, and presents a model evaluating the relationships between the compositions and properties of the diesel fuel and the exhaust emissions from the vehicle diesel engine with the fuzzy multicriteria evaluation. The emission performance of 10 diesel fuels have been evaluated with the model, and the relationships existing in the compositions and properties of the diesel fuel and the exhaust emissions from the diesel engine have been also analyzed. The result shows that the emissions performance will be better by the use of the fuel containing lower sulphur and aromatics content, smaller density, lower distillation range and greater cetane number.更多还原
