【Abstract】 This essay examines the categories of the pragmatic functions in discoures by investigating linguistic materials of over 3 million words,carries out quantitative analyses of these function categories and reaches the conclusion that major pragmatic functions of the “ba” structured sentences are as follows in order of precedence:1.Exposition,2.Instruction,3.Expression,4.Declaration.更多还原
