【摘要】 根据 1 950— 1 998年间月平均SST资料 ,用经验正交函数 (EOF)分析法 ,对西太平洋暖池海域SST场的时空特征进行了分析。结果表明 ,暖池海域SST场的主要模态包括年、年际和年代际变化 3个类型 ,其主要变化周期依次为 1 2、54、2 9和 1 2 0个月 ;暖池SST场的年际变化具有明显的区域性 ,全海域大致以 1 60°E为界分为东、西两部分 ,其SST的年际变化在变幅、相位和周期方面存在着明显差异。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper analyses in detail the spatial and temporal variations of SST field in the Western Pacific Warm Pool area using empirical orthogonal function （EOF） based on monthly mean SST data in 1950\₁998. The results show that major modes of SST field are annual,interannual,and interdecadal variations,with main periods of 12,54,29,and 120 months. The study area can be divided into two parts:the east and the west,about by 160°E as a line of demarcation for the interannual variation of SST field. There are larger differences in the amplitude,phase and period of the interannual variations of SST in the two regions.更多还原
