【摘要】 探地雷达 (Ground Penetrating Radar,简称 GPR)是目前很有潜力的一种探测浅地层内部结构的地球物理探测技术。 GPR依靠高频电磁脉冲的发射、传播、反射和接收过程可以快速高效地产生连续地层剖面的雷达图像。通过对雷达图像的处理和解译 ,可以重建测量地区地层的构造特征 ,满足工程勘测与环境演变研究的需要。在日益增长的地球科学研究和工程勘测方面 ,GPR技术将会广泛应用

【Abstract】 Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR)is one of the most promising surface geophysical techniques used for detecting the internal structure of the subsurface.Depending on the emission,transmission,reflection,and reception of the high frequency electromagnetic pulse,GPR can produce continuous radar profiles of the subsurface rapidly and efficiently.GPR system adopts the modular design.It can produce the high resolution radar image in the depth of 0~50 m as well as the features in a highly environment adaptable,portable,easy to operate and maintain,economical and practical way.With the radar image analysis and interpretations,the subsurface structure can be reconstructed,which can meet the demand of engineering survey and environment evolution research.It will be increasingly used in a wide variety of earth science research and engineering survey.This paper presents a series of profiles in the sandbar lagoon region along Sanya coast in the Hainan Island by using the GPR technique.Based on the field experiment,it focuses on the operative principle and detailed measurement of GPR as well as the analyzing and interpreting techniques of radar images.Case study of the field profiles shows GPR can be applied to the coast environment research successfully.
