【Abstract】 Sustainable development has become a common topic. As it concerns the existence and development of whole human being, there is no alternative but going on road of sustainable development in the new century after they have suffered a huge loss. Geothermal energy is a huge energy resource, environmentally benign and renewable. It has been considered as a greatly potential energy and easy to be realized. At present, geothermal energy has been used in all sides of the society. As a best advantage, it can match the social sustainable development.
