红瓜、剌苋种子的萌发特性

【摘要】 在30~35C°条件下,红瓜种子催芽5天发芽率能达到90%,在23.5C°条件下达到15%,40C°下发芽率为4%,红瓜种子萌发的最宜温度为30~35C°;剌苋种子催芽5天后,23.5C°低温发芽率3%,30C°为5%,35C°的发芽率为33%,40C°为1%。利用变温及25%PEG6000溶液处理可大大提高剌苋种子的发芽率。

【Abstract】 This article deals with the influences of four different temperatures on the germination rate of two wild vegetables: Coccinia grandis L. and Amaranthus spinosus Linn. The results show that temperature has a strong effect on seed germination. The optimum temperature for germination of Coccinia grandis L. is 35°C while lower temperature (23.5°C) or temperature over 40°C inhibits its germination. The germination rate of Amaranthus spinosus Linn. is very low, hence when they are treated with four different temperatures,different results of germination will ensue.Presowing treatment with 25% PEG and variations in temperature can improve germination significantly.
