【Abstract】 The characterization of trivalent copper and its influence on the electrical conductivities of two types of rare earth cuprates with different crystal structures were studied in this work.The substitution of Ca 2+ for Y 3+ or Sr 2+ for La 3+ increases the valence of copper in Y 2Cu 2O 5 or in La 2CuO 4 and also increases their electrical conductivities.Chemical titration,XPS and magnetization were applied for the characterization of the existence and spin state of trivalent copper.更多还原
