【Abstract】 The ultrastructures for petals for two cultivars (Samantha and Diplomat) of cut rose flowers ( Rosa hybrida ) were comparatively observed by SEM. The upper surfaces of petals both for Samantha and Diplomat were protuberated and the protuberances were composed of projected ridges while the undersur-faces were composed of irregular projected ridges and cavities. Significant differences were observed in the structure of both upper surfaces and undersurfaces between the two cultivars. The dynamic change in petal ultrastructure of vase cut flowers was also observed.更多还原
