【Abstract】 As assuming special duties, a police is to take an oath with a legal pledge. In this paper the author makes an analysis of the oath system of the people’ s police from four aspects according to the legal principles: It is benefit to enhance the feeling of sacred duty and honorable reputation, the spirit of respecting for the work and the law, the self-control of the police and the people’s supervision.
