在Ru/Al2O3催化剂上用H2对SO2选择性催化还原的研究

【摘要】 本文对用H2 来使SO2 选择性催化还原为单质硫在Ru/Al2 O3催化剂上的行为进行研究。当物料比经过优化确定为SO2 /H2 =1 :2 .8时 ,在 50 0℃下 ,SO2 的转化率为 90 %以上 ,单质硫的产率为70 %左右。比较于其他的催化还原SO2 的催化剂 ,本催化剂采用金属而不是金属硫化物 ,这样既省去了催化剂预硫化的过程 ,同时也使在有氧条件下的选择性催化还原成为可能。实验考察了O2 及水蒸气存在对过程的影响。在实验过程中发现 ,H2 S作为中间产物生成 ,可推论该过程在催化剂上分两步进行 :SO2 首先在催化剂金属上被H2 深度还原为H2 S ,然后在Al2 O3载体的酸性中心上SO2 与H2 S发生Claus反应产生单质硫。

【Abstract】 The selective reduction of sulfur dioxide with hydrogen to elemental sulfur is studied over Ru/Al 2O 3 in this paper. When the feed conditions were properly optimized (SO 2/H 2 mole radio = 1:2.8), the conversion of SO 2 was above 90% and a sulfur yield of about 70% was achieved at temperatures around 500℃. Compared with other catalysts for the reaction, the catalyst employed metal in stead of metallic sulfide. So in the process of preparation there was not the step of presulfiding. And at the same time, this catalyst also could have some activity even when oxygen was exist. The effects of oxygen and water are also investigated in the paper. The overall reaction consisted of two individual steps occurring on two different sites: sulfur dioxide was first hydrogenated to hydrogen sulfide on the metallic oxide phase, then followed by the Claus reaction of hydrogen sulfide with sulfur dioxide to produce elemental sulfur on the acidic sites of the alumina support.
