【Abstract】 As a new developed anaerobic reactor,ABR is characterized with its good hydrodynamic condition,stability to shock loading,simplicity in structure,better distribution of microbe species and treatment efficiency,and it is now progressively studied on its performance in the treatment of different types of wastewaters under different operational conditions and applied in both industrial and municipal wastewater treatments.
