稀土镝铁氧体磁流体的W/O微乳液法制备及性质研究
Preparation of Dysprosium Ferrites Ferrofluids in W/O Microemulsion and Studies on the Properties
【摘要】 该文首次报道了用W /O微乳液法制备不同镝 (Dy3 +)含量的水基镝铁氧体磁流体 ,得到制备镝铁氧体磁流体的合适条件 ,所得磁流体的磁性强且稳定性好。根据Langevin函数 ,证实了制备的磁流体在 1 67K以上具有超顺磁性 ,其闭锁温度在 1 0 7~ 1 67K之间。IR谱表明磁粒子是被聚乙二醇辛基苯基醚 (表面活性剂 )所包裹的稀土镝铁氧体 ;从XRD谱证实其为含有稀土镝的四氧化三铁晶体 ;TEM照片显示其形貌为被表面活性剂包裹的立方体 ,粒子的平均粒径为 1 8nm。
【Abstract】 This paper reports unprecedented preparation of the ferrofluids which is based water ferrites of different content of Dy 3+ by using water in oil(W/O) microemulsion. Conditions of preparation were investigated, the optimum conditions of preparation are strong magnetism and good stability when the age temperature is at 80℃ and the age time is about 6 hours and content of dysprosium is 1.0ml. Inn term of Langevin function, the ferrites have superparamagnetism when the temperature is above 167K, and the blocking temperature is between 107K and 167K. Otherwise, the ferrites were characterized by using IR, XRD, and TEM. IR confirmed that the particles are ferrites packed by P Octyl polyethylene glycol phonylether. The average particle size is 18nm.
