【Abstract】 Transmission tower is a large structure of space truss. In this paper, approximation concept is introduced to investigate the shape optimization. By choosing appropriate generalized intermediate variables the quality of approximation could be improved effectively and the number of structural analysis will be decreased to the same order of the optimization criteria. The approximated issue is solved by variable metric method for constrained optimization (CVM). The solution of the original optimization question is acquired through solving a series of approximated issues.更多还原
