Based on the general superposition method for steel reinforced concrete members, the decomposition of internal forces of concrete and steel parts under service loading was analyzed for SRC beams. A simple calculation method was suggested to determine the internal forces of concrete and steel parts. With internal forces determined, the flexural stiffness was easily obtained based on the superposition concept. The suggested method was found a good agreement with the test and theoretical results.
