【Abstract】 To cope with diagnostics of electronic control system mounted on a vehicle, which become more complicated and difficult, many automobile makers have developed automotive diagnostic systems assisting their dealers in trouble?shooting work. In general, these are composed of a diagnostic tool and an expert system, both of which have the advantages and disadvantages in trouble?shooting.
