【Abstract】 During the second half of the year 2000,there were 27 earthquakes of M w≥6 5 occurring in the world,including 23 shallow focus earthquakes;4 deep focus earthquakes 5 earthquakes of M w≥7 0 occurred in the world,and the maximum magnitude reached M w 8 0.
