【Abstract】 Senile cataract is one of the commonest eye diseases which cause blindness. Although modern microsurgery technique can cure it, mang cataract patients at early stage are unfit for the operation. No drug has showed definite therapeutic effect on cataract by far. Recently TCM study on the treatment and prevention of senile cataract have attracted world wide attention. We studied the disease on its etiology and pathogenesis, therapeutic principle and methods and differential diagnosis and treatment. The methods of TCM treatment including TCM prescriptions, acupuncture and moxibustion, point injection, drug application, drug-embedding, tying-off, freezing and eyedrops are summarized as follows.更多还原
