热处理对单层聚合物电致发光器件性能的影响
Study on the Effect of Heat Treatments on the Luminescence Performance of Polymer Light-emitting Diodes with Single Layer Structure
【摘要】 本文分别对以 MEH- PPV为发光层的橙色及以 L PPP为发光层的兰色单层聚合物有机发光二极管 (OL ED)器件在不同的温度和时间条件下进行低真空热处理 ,分别确定了最佳热处理条件。经最佳条件热处理后器件的启亮电压降低了 1~ 2 V,最大相对发光强度提高 1个数量级 ,同一电压下相对能量效率提高了 1.3~ 10 .0倍。初步分析表明热处理方法提高器件发光性能的原因在于改变了发光层与阴极接触界面的性质 ,增强了二者的结合能力 ,提高了电子注入水平
【Abstract】 Heat treatment at low vacuum on MEH PPV emitting orange light and LPPP emitting blue light OLED devices with single layer structure at different temperature and time conditions were performed in this paper.Our experiments indicated that the optimum heat treatment condition.Compared with the unannealed devices,the turn on voltage of the annealed one is reduced by 1~2 V,the maximum EL intensity is increased by ten times,the relative energy efficiency is improved by 1.3~10.0 times at the same voltage.We analysised the reason of this phenomenon and consider that this is because heat treatment changes the characteristics of the interface between the emitting polymer and the cathode by promoting the formation of the C Al or C O Al chemical bond,this can enhance the interfacial adhesion and as a result,the electron injection is improved.
