光纤光栅2×2矩阵简便计算模型
A Simple 2×2 Matrix Method for Fiber Gratings
【摘要】 本文直接在麦氏方程、弱波导结构与电磁场边界连续基础上 ,推导出光纤光栅反射光谱特性新型2× 2矩阵算法 ;与耦合模理论相比 ,本方法为周期性光纤光栅的研究提供了简便、直观的计算模型。应用该模型计算了高斯型包络函数光纤光栅的光谱响应 ,并分析了其放缩特性
【Abstract】 A simple 2×2 matrix method for calculating the reflection spectrum for a fiber grating is developed.The method is based on Maxwells equations,weak waveguide approximation,and boundary continuity fot the electromagnetic fields.Compared to the conventional coupling theory,the present method is much simpler and more intuitionistic.The reflection spectrum with a Gauss index profile is calculated and the narrowing and broadening characteristics of the fiber grating is analyzed.
