【Abstract】 Image analysis of metallography plays an important role in microimage analysis. In this paper, a novel method combining the morphology with metallography is presented. The initialimage of the metal specimen is taken into computer抯 memory by an image collecting system. Then computation and analysis can be performed on the structure images to obtain such parameters as number, area, circumference, percentage distribution and average area of crystal grains. The method is quick and accurate and the parameter is helpful to the metal analysis and diagnosis.更多还原
