计算机网络中面向拥塞控制的一种模糊流量控制机制
A Fuzzy Flow Control Mechanism for Congestion Control in Computer Networks
【摘要】 未来的计算机网络将是一种能够提供多种不同服务 ,支持多种不同应用需求 ,有着集成服务支持能力的高速分组交换网络 .为充分提高该类网络性能 ,设计一个高效的流量控制机制是关键问题 .为此 ,本文以ATM网络中的相关研究为背景 ,提出了一种基于模糊逻辑的显式速率 (ER)控制机制 .通过管理交换机缓冲区瞬时队列长度及其变化率 ,并利用一组语言规则 ,该机制计算出交换机可支持的流量速率 .仿真结果表明该机制是稳定的、鲁棒的 ;它能有效地避免网络拥塞并具有更高的链路带宽利用率
【Abstract】 Future computer network will become a high speed packet switched network that can be able to provide various services to support a wide range of network applications. The design of an effective flow control mechanism is critical to the enhancement of the network performance. Based on the related researches on ATM networks a fuzzy based explicit rate (ER) control mechanism is presented. By monitoring the average ABR queue length and it variation rate, and with the aid of a set of linguistic rules, the flow rate is calculated using the control mechanism. Simulations show that the mechanism is stable and robust. Additionally, it can avoid congestion effectively and is of high link bandwidth utilization.
