【Abstract】 In the ancient China, as the mulberry was closely related to the people’s material and cultural life, the mulberry image frequently appeared. It not only resulted in the customs of “mulberry dating”, but also formed two themes’ modes forthe story plots of picking\|mulberry\|leaves girls and “the birth of the saints in the hollow mulberry”, and also endowed multi\|cultural symbolic connotation to the mulberry image. This paper intends to work out the deep\|seated explanation for these two\|mulberry image’s theme modes, aiming at disclosing the rich cultural connotation of the mulberry image.更多还原
