【摘要】 当我们刚刚跨入新世纪之际 ,东北师范大学根据学校的性质和多年办学的实践经验 ,提出以“尊重的教育”作为东北师范大学新世纪的教育理念。它的提出既有来自对教育现实的反思 ,也具有坚实的理论基础和科学依据。“尊重的教育”的本质是一种教师教育的导向思想和教育精神 ,即主导、倡导、引导、指导学校和教师在教育教学活动中产生合规律、合价值、合人性的教育教学行为的思想与精神 ;它的核心是在这种新的理念的指导下 ,重建师生关系 ,重建教师和学生在教育过程中的地位 ,重建教育教学环境 ,为学生创造精神的形成和创造人才的成长提供一个良好的氛围 ,使素质教育真正得到实现。值此本刊创刊 5 0周年之际 ,我们组发了“尊重的教育”笔谈 ,期望广大师生积极关注和参加讨论。

【Abstract】 The concept of “Respect-based Education” was put forward by Northeast Normal University as its educational ideology based on its practice and experience. The ideology evolved from both reflection on educational situation and solid theoretical and scientific foundation. The respect-based education means a guidance and spirit of education which leads, advocates and directs the schools and teachers for a harmonious atmosphere in teaching. It aims at establishing a new relation between teacher and students. It also intends to give rise to a different teaching environment in order to provide a good condition for the development of students’ personality and creativity. That is what the quality-oriented education means. On the 50th anniversary of this journal, we publish a series of essays on the new ideology in the hope of much more attentions from the readers.
