原位铝基复合材料的制备及微观组织
FABRICATION AND MICROSTRUCTURE OF Al MATRIX COMPOSITE STRENGTHENED BY IN SITU ALLOYING AND IN SITU PARTICULATE
【摘要】 提出制备原位合金化和原位反应颗粒共同强化金属基复合材料的概念,并据此制备厂原位10%Cu(质量分数,下同)和5.35%a-Al2O3颗粒增强纯铝复合材料(A)以及原位10%Cu;4%Si和15.06%a-Al2O3颗粒共同增强纯铝复合材料(B).对原位反应过程进行了热力学分析.SEM观察和EDS分析显示,A和B中的原位反应分别生成了合金元素Cu、Cu+Si以及Al2O3;原位Al2O3颗粒直径小于0.5μm,在材料中均匀分布、TEM观测显示Al2O3颗粒边角圆滑,与基体结合良好.探讨了原位反应的机理以及在铸造凝固过程中原位颗粒的行为.
【Abstract】 A new idea to fabricate aluminum matrix composites strengthened by in situ alloying and in situ particulate has been proposed. Following the concept of in situ alloying and in situ particulate, pure aluminum matrix composites reinforced by in situ 10%(mass fraction, the same in the next presentation) Cu and 5.35%a-A1203 particulate (material A) and the same matrix reinforced by 10%Cu, 4%Si and 15.06%a-A1203 particulate (material B) have been obtained. Thermodynamic considerations are given to the in situ reactions. SEM observation and EDS analysis show the alloy elements Cu and Si in the two materials exist as CuAl2 phase and Al-Si eutectic respectively; in situ Al203 is less than 0.5 μm in diameter. TEM observation of the in situ a-A1203 particulates shows that particulates are round cornered, and have a good cohension with the matrix. The reaction mechanism and the distribution of in situ a-Al203 particulates in the process of solidification are discussed.
