【Abstract】 In this paper it is considered that the special measurement for analyzing the transient emissions of combustion engine is needed since the difference between the transient emissions and stable emissions. The characteristics of chaotic time series analysis, which are applied to the analysis of vibration signal of combustion engine by the authors, are reviewed. The research on analysis and identification of the transient data of combustion engine based on the symbolic time series analysis by foreign colleagues, which is developed from the symbolic dynamic theory, chaotic time series analysis and information theory, is discussed too. The development of test measurements of transient emissions abroad is introduced. The idea that the characteristics and influence factors about transient emissions could be obtained by the transient emissions signal analysis of spark ignited engines based on the symbolic time series analysis, is suggested .更多还原
