液晶显示技术及其在现代军事中的应用
The LCD Technology and its Application in Modern Military
【摘要】 液晶于1888年发现,1968年动态散射(DS)型液晶显示器件(LCD)问世,1971年扭曲向列(TN)型LCD揭开了其固态化和平板化的序幕,使LCD取得了突破进展。目前LCD已成为平板显示的主流技术,中小尺寸液晶产品广泛应用于电脑、导航、家电等领域,其发展趋向是开发新型液晶显示器和革新制造技术。LCD目前在现代军事上的应用有:车载用薄膜晶体管有源矩阵液晶显示器(TFT-LCD),机用有原彩色液晶下视显示器,等等。因此,应巨额资金投入,加大相关技术研究,形成自主开发体系。
【Abstract】 Liquid Crystal was discovered in 1888. The Dynamic Scatter LCD was invented in 1968. The introduction of TN LCD was the milestone of LCD because of its solidification and flat-panel in 1997. LCD has become the trend in flat-panel display and middle/small sized LCD found themselves a variety ofapplications in computer, navigation, and household electronic appliances. The application of LCD in modern military includes: Thin-film transistor LCD for vehicles, down-discernible colorful LCD used in airplanes, etc.. Because of its military importance, capital financing is needed to promote the research related to LCD and realization of self-developed system.
